Remember you must be a LHSBCA member to vote for All State, if not sure check the website under member page.
Deadline is March 10. No ballots will be counted after that date. Email ballots to Chris Beckman at BeckmanC@ehsbr.org, or hand deliver at the Fri. March 10, 2017 LHSBCA Clinic at the State Tournamnet. No ballots will be counted if mailed they must be emailed or hand delivered.

LHSCA/LHSBCA All-Star Weekend
Summary of 2017 All Star Weekend and Game
All the participants in the 2017 All- Star Weekend shared an exciting time of camaraderie, contests, and competition. Hosted jointly by the LHSCA and LHSBCA in conjunction with the Shreveport-Bossier Sports Commission at Bossier Parish Community College, the All Star Weekend began with the arrival of selected and nominated players on March 17th. Players met their teammates and coaches, held practice and attended the annual banquet with special guest speaker Centenary College Men’s Basketball coach Adam Walsh.
Saturday’s activities began with the Girls All-Star game with the East squad, coached by Korey Arnold (Walker High School) and Kara Corken (Jewel Sumner) cruising to victory with a score of 98-61. Game MVP Micaela Wilson (Rayville) paced the East squad with 13 points while Meosha Barnum (Saline) led the West with 10 points.
The Girls 3-Point Contest was won by Catherine Kirksey (C E Byrd).
In the Boy’s game, the West squad, coached by Christopher Kovatch (Carencro) and Eddie Hamilton (Fairpark) brought home the hardware with a 105-93 victory over the East boys. Brandon Rachal (Natchitoches Central) scored a team high 24 points and was selected MVP. Mitchell Robinson (Chalmette) was the leading scorer for the East team.
The Boy’s 3-Point Contest winner was Neil Caldwell ( Dutchtown) with a championship round score of 15 points.
